Sounds to me like someone just doesnt know how to use a server browser properly. lot of complaints this reviewer has are just incorrect or the fault of the user not the game.

i had to sell my proj when times got tough, sucked cause i had just bought a large hanging pull down screen for it too which i still have. I doubt i could afford a proj even used nowdays tho
ive been a pc gamer for nearly 20 years and no this type of setup is not very common. its like comparing a guy that takes his mildly tuned daily driver car to the track on weekends to a guy that buys the same car and mods it out so hard it cant be used as a daily driver.
Even with the bezels removed its still too much for me. i dont want to see gaps or lines in my screen.
also if im going to spend this kind of money on a setup im certainly not going to lug it around to events. Id rather spend this kind of money on a proper HD projector and go big in my home with surround sound.
i used to have a projector setup and oh how i miss it.

if they showed al their methods and all the things they tried then there is no way they could cover more than one myth per show. they have to balance science with entertainment by editing out the slow boring stuff that would make ppl change the channel after 10 minutes. yea there area lot of people that want to see all that but it just cant be done in a 1 hour timeslot

look at the screenshot in the article showing metro controller layout. XYAB isnt used for normal functions like we are used to. they are used for menus and toggles/ they really need to name them something other than XYAB cause it is causing confusion with people incorrectly comparing them to xbox controller when it doesnt mirror that at all
ppl dont want to think about it they just want to see one picture of it and without reading info on how it actually works they want to dub it a failure cause it doesnt work the way they imagine within the first 3 seconds of seeing it for the first time.
the buttons you are referring to arent the same at all. they are system buttons not for gameplay the right touchpad is what does the traditional XYAB inputs. it has tactile feedback so you feel the buttons in the pad even if they arent really there.
look at the article and the screenshot of the metro lastlight control config layout. those XYAB are being used for things like menus and toggls like flashlight and reloading. i see no problem with that
